Machining of ball of pbq340h eccentric hemispherical valve
The ball of eccentric hemispherical valve is difficult to be machined because of the eccentric dimension E between the axle hole and the ball crown, so it must be finished with special tooling. The traditional tooling mostly uses the turning method of fixed ball valve sphere for reference, the mandrel passes through the hole of hemispherical valve axis, and the center hole is drilled eccentrically according to the sphere on both ends of the mandrel, and the two centers are clamped on the lathe for turning. The process has the following disadvantages:
1. The weight of the ball clamped on the spindle is unbalanced, and it can be processed normally only after counterweight.
2. The turning process is intermittent cutting, with large impact force and low surface quality.
3. Long cutting stroke, waste of working hours.
The special fixture is used to turn the ball of eccentric hemispherical valve. The special fixture overcomes the problems of traditional tooling. It has high machining efficiency and good quality, and is widely used.
